Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") constitute a legally binding contract between you ("Client", "you", or "your") and Continental Global Market LTD ("CGM", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of the website www.cgmfx.io, trading platforms, and all related services. By accessing our website, clicking "Submit Application", creating an account, or using any of our services, you confirm that you have carefully read, understood, and expressly agree to be bound by this Agreement in its entirety. This Agreement is the legal equivalent of a manually signed contract.
If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you must immediately cease all use of our website and services. CGM reserves the right to amend this Agreement at any time. Where changes are material, we will endeavour to notify you via the website or your registered email address. Your continued use of our services after any amendments constitutes your unconditional acceptance of the revised terms.

Continental Global Market LTD (Registration Number: 2026-00376) is a forex and financial instruments brokerage company incorporated and registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. CGM operates as a broker providing clients with access to global financial markets, including but not limited to foreign exchange (forex), contracts for difference (CFDs), commodities, and indices.
CGM is committed to operating in full compliance with the applicable financial regulations and licensing requirements of the United Arab Emirates. Clients are advised to verify the current regulatory and licensing status of CGM at www.cgmfx.io before engaging in any financial transactions.
Eligibility and Account Registration
3.1 Eligibility Requirements
To open an account and access our services, you represent and warrant that you:
- Are at least 18 years of age, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher
- Have full legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under the laws of your jurisdiction
- Are not a resident or national of a jurisdiction where forex or CFD trading is restricted or prohibited by law
- Are not subject to any international sanctions, regulatory bans, or court orders that would prevent you from trading financial instruments
- Are acting on your own behalf and not as an agent or nominee for any third party, unless expressly disclosed and approved by CGM
- Will provide accurate, complete, and truthful information at all times during registration and throughout our relationship
3.2 Restricted Jurisdictions
CGM does not offer its services to residents or nationals of jurisdictions where such services would be contrary to local law or regulation. Restricted jurisdictions include, but are not limited to, the United States of America, North Korea, Iran, Syria, Sudan, and any other jurisdiction that CGM designates as restricted at its sole discretion. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that accessing and using our services is lawful in your jurisdiction.
3.3 Account Verification (KYC / AML / CTF)
In compliance with applicable anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorism financing (CTF), and know-your-customer (KYC) laws, CGM requires all clients to satisfactorily complete a verification process prior to accessing full trading functionality. You may be required to provide:
- A valid government-issued photo identification document (passport, national ID card, or driver's licence)
- Proof of residential address issued within the last three (3) months
- Source of funds and/or source of wealth documentation, where required
- A selfie or live verification photograph for identity confirmation
- Any additional documentation our compliance team may reasonably request
CGM reserves the right to refuse, suspend, restrict, or terminate any account that fails to meet our KYC/AML requirements or where we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraudulent or illegal activity.
3.4 Account Security
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials, including your username, password, and two-factor authentication details. You agree to notify us immediately at support@cgmfx.io if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account. CGM will not be liable for any loss arising from your failure to maintain account security.
Services Provided
4.1 Brokerage and Execution Services
CGM provides order execution and brokerage services on an execution-only basis unless otherwise explicitly stated. CGM does not provide personalised investment advice, portfolio management, or financial planning services. Nothing on our platforms, website, or in this Agreement constitutes financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. You are solely responsible for all trading decisions.
4.2 Trading Platforms — MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5
CGM provides clients with access to MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5), which are third-party trading platforms developed and owned by MetaQuotes Software Corp. These platforms are made available to clients under licence and CGM does not warrant that they will be available on an uninterrupted or error-free basis. CGM accepts no liability for any losses arising from technical issues, downtime, or interruptions attributable to MetaQuotes Software Corp or any other third-party platform provider.
4.3 Demo Accounts
Demo accounts are provided solely for educational and practice purposes. All balances, trades, and profits in a demo account are entirely virtual and cannot be withdrawn or converted into real funds under any circumstances. Demo trading conditions may differ from live market conditions.
4.4 No Investment Advice
CGM is an execution-only broker. Any market commentary, analysis, or content provided through our platforms is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument. You are solely responsible for evaluating the suitability of any trade or investment.
Risk Disclosure
Risk Warning: CFDs and forex are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. A significant proportion of retail investor accounts lose money when trading these products. You should consider whether you understand how CFDs and forex work, and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money. Past performance is not indicative of future results.
By using our services, you acknowledge and accept the following key risks:
CGM strongly recommends that all clients seek independent financial advice before commencing trading and only trade with capital they can afford to lose entirely.
Client Funds, Deposits, and Withdrawals
6.1 Deposits
All deposits to your CGM trading account must be made using approved payment methods listed on our website. CGM does not accept cash deposits, third-party payments, or funds from unverifiable sources. You are solely responsible for ensuring deposit instructions are followed accurately.
6.2 Withdrawals
Withdrawal requests will be processed subject to satisfactory identity verification and AML compliance. CGM reserves the right to return funds to the original deposit source and may request supporting documentation before processing any withdrawal.
6.3 Segregation of Client Funds
CGM endeavours to hold client funds in accounts segregated from the company's operational funds, in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. CGM does not guarantee the safety of client funds in the event of insolvency or regulatory action.
6.4 Inactivity
Accounts inactive for a continuous period of twelve (12) months or more may be classified as dormant and subject to an inactivity fee as set out in our fee schedule on our website.
Trading Conditions and Order Execution
CGM executes client orders in accordance with its Order Execution Policy, available on our website. By using our services, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- All trades are subject to spreads, commissions, and overnight financing charges (swap rates)
- CGM reserves the right to refuse, partially fill, or cancel orders under abnormal market conditions or where margin is insufficient
- Stop-out and margin call procedures will be applied to leveraged positions as communicated at account opening
- Slippage may occur during periods of high volatility, low liquidity, or major economic releases
- CGM reserves the right to close open positions without prior notice if margin requirements are not met
- CGM may place internal limits on the size, number, or type of orders that a client may place
Prohibited Conduct
You agree that you will not use our services or platforms to:
- Engage in market manipulation, wash trading, front-running, layering, spoofing, or any abusive trading practice
- Use automated software, Expert Advisors, or algorithms that exploit platform latency, pricing errors, or system vulnerabilities
- Conduct, facilitate, or assist money laundering, terrorist financing, tax evasion, or financial fraud
- Provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information at any point during our relationship
- Share account credentials or allow any third party to trade on your account without prior written consent
- Reverse-engineer, hack, or interfere with our trading platforms or systems
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
- Circumvent any technical or compliance measures implemented by CGM
CGM reserves the right to immediately suspend or permanently terminate accounts engaged in prohibited conduct and to report such activity to relevant regulatory or law enforcement authorities.
Intellectual Property
All content on www.cgmfx.io, including text, graphics, logos, trademarks, icons, software, data, and interface designs, is the exclusive property of Continental Global Market LTD or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use our website solely for personal, non-commercial trading purposes. Any unauthorised use may result in account termination and legal action.
Privacy and Data Protection
CGM collects, processes, stores, and protects your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website and incorporated into this Agreement by reference. By using our services, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal information as described therein. You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting support@cgmfx.io.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Our website, platforms, and all services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CGM expressly disclaims all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. CGM does not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that market data and pricing information will be accurate or complete.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Continental Global Market LTD and its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, and agents shall not be liable for:
- Any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages of any kind
- Any loss of profits, revenue, business, data, or anticipated savings
- Losses arising from market movements, price volatility, slippage, or platform outages
- Losses resulting from your reliance on market data, research, or any content on our platforms
- Actions, errors, or omissions of third-party service providers, liquidity providers, or payment processors
- Unauthorised access to your account resulting from your failure to maintain account security
Where liability cannot be fully excluded, CGM's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the total amount of funds deposited by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Continental Global Market LTD and its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, and agents from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of our services; (b) your breach of this Agreement; (c) your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights; (d) any misrepresentation or false information provided by you; or (e) any trading activity conducted through your account. This indemnification obligation survives termination of this Agreement.
Complaints and Dispute Resolution
14.1 Internal Complaints Procedure
If you have a complaint, please contact us at support@cgmfx.io with your full name, account number, a description of your complaint, and supporting documentation. CGM will acknowledge receipt within five (5) business days and aim to provide a substantive response within thirty (30) business days.
14.2 Escalation
If you are unsatisfied with our initial response, you may request escalation to our senior compliance team. Our Complaints Handling Policy is available on our website.
14.3 Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement is governed by and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Account Termination and Suspension
CGM reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your account at any time, with or without prior notice, where you have breached this Agreement, we are required to do so by law or regulatory directive, we have grounds to suspect fraudulent activity, your account is dormant, or we discontinue our services. Upon termination, open positions may be closed at prevailing market prices and remaining funds returned after deduction of applicable fees, subject to AML verification requirements.
Third-Party Services and Links
Our platforms may integrate with third-party services including MetaQuotes Software Corp, payment processors, and data providers. CGM does not endorse or assume responsibility for any third-party service. Your use of third-party services is entirely at your own risk and governed by the applicable terms of those third parties.
Electronic Communications and Notices
By creating an account with CGM, you consent to receiving communications electronically, including via email to your registered address, platform notifications, or notices posted on our website. All electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that communications be in writing. It is your responsibility to ensure your registered email address is current and active.
Amendments to This Agreement
CGM reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Where changes are material, we will endeavour to provide reasonable advance notice. Your continued use of our services after the effective date of any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the revised Agreement.
Force Majeure
CGM shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, war, terrorism, government actions, regulatory changes, market closures, exchange failures, cyberattacks, telecommunications failures, or power outages.
Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, it shall be deemed severable without affecting the remaining provisions. This Agreement, together with our Privacy Policy, Risk Disclosure Statement, and Order Execution Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and CGM regarding your use of our services.
